AFI Fest 2008

It’s here again. AFI Fest is my favorite local festival. Why is it my fave? Well, aside from everyone thinking that I’m totally fabulous and good looking, it’s because they show some great movies! It’s also walking distance. Oh, and did I mention they show some great films?
In 2006, my friend and collaborator, James Crocket, and I had the honor of showing our short film, The Chase, at the AFI Dallas Film festival. Both James and I are working hard at getting our next films up and out into the world and hope that we can attend as filmmakers once again.
As always, it’s about the story and the scripts are coming along.
In the meantime, I’ll write some reviews of the films I see at AFI Fest this year and some general thoughts about the festival. Depending on my level of intoxication, I might be typing them naked. But let’s hope I’m just bearing my feelings instead of my ass.
Festing…
